Seasonal Mini Photoshoots FAQ

If my child is miserable at the session, can I rebook?

My philosophy is Children First. If you turn up to the photoshoot and I can’t get your child in the mood with my usual tricks and treats, then I am happy to offer an alternative date or put your booking fee towards a longer session, where we can plan better how to make it a more enjoyable session.

It is worth noting that if you have a more serious kind of child, then it is absolutely fine for them not to be laughing loads - it is all about capturing their true personality and as long as they are happy, I am happy!

Do I have to join Evie’s List to book a mini photoshoot slot

I’ll be releasing the early bird slots to my Evie’s List subscribers before making available to the general public.
My spring minishoots offer a huge saving compared to my signature full length sessions and I am expecting them to sell out quickly, if you want to improve your chance of getting a slot - you must join Evie’s List.

What is the friend referral scheme?

  1. You tell a friend about joining Evie’s List

  2. They join and write your name in the referral slot

  3. You both go on to book a spring mini photoshoot

  4. You both get to choose an extra free print from your chosen three digitals

Can I bring the grandparents / an extra adult?

Your spring photoshoots is going to be just 15 minutes long so I won’t be able to anyone other than upto 2 parents, and 4 children, bringing anyone else to the session will be just too distracting and I won’t be able to proceed with the photoshoot.

I do love extended family photoshoots though, so if you would love some photos with the grandparents, please book a full length session. Full info here!

I only have 1 child, can their friend join in?

These sessions are designed for one family each, due to time, safeguarding and admin - having a friend present is not possible at this time. However if the friends’s family book the following slot, I’d be happy to take a few snaps of the kids together. Additionally, you can book a bespoke full length photoshoot with your friends.

Can I choose a different location or time?

No, these mini photoshoots work at the price they are because they are fixed in a single location at a particular time. If that doesn’t work for you, I offer bespoke photoshoots where you can choose the time and location. Book here.

Can I have more than 18 photos to choose from?

As the photoshoot is only 15 minutes long, you will find 18 photos to choose from is more than enough. If you would really like to have more of a choice, please consider booking a full length session where we can walk about a bit and have a bit more variety.

What is your covid / cancellation policy?

In the event you need to self isolate or to postpone for some other reason, you will be offered another date for after your self isolation period has ended

Your booking fee is non refundable so please do ensure you and your family can make the dates before booking. You can of course sell or give away your slot to another friend if you cannot make it but they will need to sign the contract with me directly.

I am going to be late, will I still get my 15 minutes.

Please leave lots of time and don’t be late!
My spring mini photoshoots will be taking place on the same day, back to back - with enough time for my to have a breather between families. Your session will be finish 15 minutes after your start time.

If your lateness is unavoidable, you will lose your deposit - you could consider gifting or swapping the session with a friend

When can I see my photographic proofs

I aim to have your proofs live in your online gallery with in 2-3 weeks. You will then be able to choose you three favourites to download and let me know which one you would like to have as a fine art print.

Can I have an outfit change?

That will not be possible within a 15 minute mini session, however if you would like to do that, I’ll be happy to chat to you about a full length session on another date.
